Photography
Sony A7C - compact full-frame mirrorless camera, great for hiking. Main lens is
the 24-70mm f/2.8 GMII
Sony RX100M3 (I previously used the M4, but it got jammed with sand) -
the best pocket camera line
GoPro 8 - I've had a few GoPros. This is good for hiking and running
videos. Software is good for quick exports. I wish they hadn't
discontinued their Mac desktop app, as that added value to their cloud
storage offering.
Osmo Pocket - although I don't use this as much anymore, it's a great
video camera. The form factor was excellent for taking unobtrusive day
to day video. Not so good for running. If I had more money than I have
then I'd upgrade this.
Peak Design - I use their camera clips, lens switcher and straps. I also have their
Everyday Sling camera bag. All high quality, all super-useful for hiking,
particularly the camera clips.
Cloth wipes (Cheeky Wipes, Little Gubbins) - at first I thought these would be gross, now I vastly prefer them
to disposable wipes. Far more solid, far better at doing the job they
are designed for. We started with Cheeky Wipes, which also include
buckets, etc. Now I prefer the larger Cheeky Gubbins ones, and we bought
a bigger cheap bucket for used wipes.
Lumi White Noise Machine - a nice part of the bedtime routine, plays various noises, and white noise
to help sleep. Portable, and with glowing lights.
